Our Story
Founded in 2025 by bilingual friends, MuseLex began as a passion project to make museum exhibits more accessible. What started with translating plaques at our local museum has grown into a network of student translators worldwide.
Our Mission
To break language barriers in cultural education by providing professional-grade translations at zero cost to community museums.
Meet Our Team
Rachel is a rising high school sophomore fluent in both Mandarin and English. She began her journey by teaching non-native speakers English and has since expanded her volunteer work to include translating museum descriptions to make cultural content more accessible.
Luoxi is an incoming MIT student pursuing a double major in Computer Science & Mathematics. She loves all things STEM and is fluent in Mandarin and English, scoring perfect 5s on AP Chinese Literature and Culture, AP English Language and Composition, and AP English Literature and Composition. In her free time, Luoxi loves reading, tinkering around with new technology, and exploring museums.
